Jessica Rogers – New Director for Ready! For Kindergarten Program

Priest Lake Education Foundation is excited to announce that Jessica Rogers has been appointed as the new Director for the Ready! For Kindergarten program.

Jessica graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in English Writing from Montana State University. After college, she moved to North Carolina where she taught children with autism for Cumberland County Schools in Fayetteville for three years. While in North Carolina, Jessica earned her teaching license and also worked as a caregiver for a child with special needs. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

Jessica moved back to Montana and became a certified Family Support Specialist in Great Falls. She worked with families and children with disabilities and/or developmental delays ages birth-21. While there, she was part of a state committee that developed Montana’s first Children’s Autism Waiver. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

Lastly, Jessica worked as a case manager for Idaho’s Infant Toddler Program and then became a certified Intensive Behavior Interventionist for the State of Idaho and worked with an agency out of Coeur d’Alene providing in home services to children with autism and their families, doing training, conducting functional behavior analyses, and writing and implementing behavior modification plans. She has been a full time Priest Lake resident for ten years and is a mother of three small children ages 5, 3, and 1. Jessica has been a part of Ready! For Kindergarten program for 5 years both as a parent and as a facilitator where I have taught the birth-1 Ready! class for four years at Priest Lake. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣
